1ST Detect’s TRACER 2000TM is a swab-based chemical detector designed to detect trace amounts of explosives and narcotics.

The TRACER 2000 is currently under development to meet the DHS TSA’s expected next release of requirements, including an expanded library of up to 30 additional compounds such as inorganic salts – commonly used to make homemade explosives.

With its significantly reduced false positive rate, the TRACER 2000 will enhance security and increase throughput of passengers and cargo while enabling security administrators to stay ahead of evolving threats.
